Lowered and allow the engine crankcase to sit right at the chassis level contributing to a lower center of gravity. The cooling fins on the sides allow the engine to better dissipate heat and help prevent overheating during a race. (Do not use with non-O.S. engines as the crankcase and chassis may interfere with each other.)
